Playing with Light | Southern Utah Family Photographer | Family Photos

As a Southern Utah family photographer I have been so obsessed with playing with light and getting creative during any and all of my sessions lately. Here in Cedar City Utah things are finally starting to warm up for spring and all of the warm light is giving me all the feels. I can honestly say that harsh light during a session used to scare me, but as I have tried to stretch myself creatively I love how much emotion light can add to a photo. Moral of the story, don't be able to try to something new, no matter how scary it may be, you just may be surprised how much you love the outcome!

I had so much fun working with the Smallwood family. They came in wanting me to use my creativity and fully trusted me during their session. I am obsessed with how their photos turned out, and this session was honestly one I will always remember. ❤️
