What is a Bridal session?
A Bridal Session is a session prior to the wedding day or ceremony in your wedding attire. A lot of brides and grooms choose to do a bridal session to eliminate some of the time needed for pictures on the actual wedding day. This allows them to also have formal pictures to display on their wedding day at their reception, luncheon, or ceremony. As a Utah Wedding Photographer, Bridals are one of my very favorite sessions!
Bridal Sessions are another chance to connect with your photographer and ensure your images are shot in perfect light, because your Utah Wedding Photographer can choose the time as opposed to working with the day of wedding schedule. One of my favorite things about Bridal Sessions is the "first look". This is a time for your Utah Wedding Photographer to capture the groom seeing the bride in her gown for the first time. A Bridal Session is also a time to get detail shots of your formal attire, rings, bouquet, etc, that you may not have time to get on your busy wedding day.
In my experience I believe that Bridal Sessions help eliminate a lot of stress off the big wedding day for your Wedding Photographer to capture real emotion and love. It also creates an atmosphere for the bride and groom to share in their excitement of their upcoming special day!
